Creamy Potaotes with Sausage (Crock Pot)

2 lb. lg. link smoked sausage, cut into 3-4 in pieces (like the Hillshire Farms Kielbasa-type sausage)
1 1/2 lb. small red potatoes, quartered

Mix the following three ingredients:
1 (8 oz) tub cream cheese w/ chives (or w/ chives and onion)
1 (1 oz or less) envelope Ranch dressing mix
1 (10 oz) can cream of potato soup

1. Place ingredients in slow cooker in order listed. Put soup mixture on top of potatoes.
2. Cook 6 hrs. on LOW (High doesn't work well for this recipe)
