Macadamia Nut Chip cookies

The title is a mouthful--but a mouthful of this
cookie will have you wanting another!!

1 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 jars (3-1/2 oz. each) macadamia nuts, chopped
2 cups vanilla or white chips
(you can add 1 cup chocolate chips,too!)

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars together.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture
and beat for 2 minutes. Stir in nuts and chips. Cover and
refrigerate several hours or overnight. Drop by spoonfuls
2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 375 oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on pans for 1 minute before removing to wire racks
Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
