Kendall's Brazilian Lemonade

4- juicy limes (try and find the ones with thin, smoth skins; they are the juiciest and the thin skin cuts down the chance of your drink being bitter.

1-cup sugar

6 cups cold water

6 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk

Mix cold water and sugar very well and chill until ready to use. This step can be done ahead of time. Wash limes thoroughly with soap. Cut of the very ends of the limes and cut lime into 8ths...REMEMBER skin seeds and all ! Place 1/2 of the limes in the blender. Add 1/2 of the sugar water into the blender. Pulse 5 times. Place a fine wire mesh strainer over drinking pitcher. Pour mixture from blender through stainer into pitcher (you only want the liquid in the pitcher). Use a spoon to press the lime pulp to get all the juice out that you can. Discard lime contents in the strainer. Repeat with other 1/2 of limes, and sugar water. Add sweetened condensed milk. (DON'T forget the sweetened condensed milk, or it will taste very bitter). Mix well and enjoy !!

I served a mission for my church to Brazil. I had this there quite a few times and loved it. When I got back home I found a place called Tucano's that serves this. I think this recipe is just as good...if not better than their lemonade !!
